Description
Sermorelin research peptide
Sermorelin, also known as GRF(1-29)NH2, is a synthetic peptide made of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), with a C-terminal amide. This N-terminal fragment is the shortest sequence that keeps the activity of the full 44-amino-acid hormone at the GHRH receptor. In the laboratory it is studied in research on GHRH receptor binding and signalling, and as the reference sequence for modified analogues.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 5mg vial. Sermorelin is not a licensed medicine in the UK. We supply it strictly as a research reagent.

Storage and handling
Store the lyophilised powder at −20 °C, sealed and protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Prepare solutions according to your laboratory’s validated protocols, using appropriate PPE. Bacteriostatic water is available separately for laboratory use.
Frequently asked questions
What is sermorelin?
Sermorelin, also called GRF(1-29)NH2, is a synthetic peptide made of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), with a C-terminal amide. This shorter sequence keeps the activity of the full 44-amino-acid hormone at the GHRH receptor, and it is studied in vitro in GHRH receptor research.
What is the difference between sermorelin and CJC-1295 no DAC?
Both are based on GHRH(1-29). Sermorelin uses the native sequence. CJC-1295 no DAC (modified GRF 1-29) has four amino acid substitutions (D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27) that make it more resistant to enzymatic breakdown, giving it a longer half-life in research models.
Is sermorelin a GHRH peptide?
Yes. Sermorelin is a GHRH analogue and acts on the GHRH receptor. This is a different receptor from the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) targeted by GHRPs such as ipamorelin.
What is the sermorelin sequence?
The sequence is Tyr-Ala-Asp-Ala-Ile-Phe-Thr-Asn-Ser-Tyr-Arg-Lys-Val-Leu-Gly-Gln-Leu-Ser-Ala-Arg-Lys-Leu-Leu-Gln-Asp-Ile-Met-Ser-Arg-NH2. Its molecular formula is C149H246N44O42S, with a molecular weight of about 3357.9 g/mol. The sulphur comes from the methionine at position 27.
What purity is your sermorelin?
Every batch is purity tested by Janoshik, an independent laboratory, using HPLC before it is released for sale.
How should sermorelin be stored?
Store the lyophilised powder sealed at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening. Stability in solution should be validated within your own laboratory protocol.
Do you ship sermorelin from the UK?
Yes. Orders placed before 3PM UK time, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24. See our Shipping Policy.
Do you provide dosing or usage advice?
No. Sermorelin is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only. We do not provide dosage, administration or medical advice of any kind.
Research use only. This product is supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or animal use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. By purchasing, you agree to our Research Use Disclaimer.
