Description
Tesamorelin research peptide
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It contains the full 44-amino-acid GHRH sequence with a trans-3-hexenoyl group attached at the N-terminus, a modification that improves resistance to enzymatic degradation compared with native GHRH. This makes it a reference compound for in vitro research on the GHRH receptor and the growth-hormone axis.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 5mg vial. Tesamorelin is not a licensed medicine in the UK. We supply it strictly as a research reagent.

How tesamorelin compares
Quality and testing
Independent laboratory, using HPLC before it is released for sale. Read more about our process on the Quality & Testing page.
Storage and handling
Store the lyophilised powder at −20 °C, sealed and protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Prepare solutions according to your laboratory’s validated protocols, using appropriate PPE.

Frequently asked questions
What is tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It contains the full 44-amino-acid GHRH sequence with a trans-3-hexenoyl group added at the N-terminus, which makes the peptide more resistant to enzymatic breakdown than native GHRH.
How is tesamorelin different from sermorelin and ipamorelin?
Sermorelin is a shorter GHRH fragment (amino acids 1 to 29) that acts on the same GHRH receptor. Ipamorelin works through a different target, the ghrelin (GHS) receptor. Tesamorelin is the full-length, N-terminally modified GHRH analogue.
What purity is your tesamorelin?
Every batch is purity tested by Janoshik, an independent laboratory, using HPLC before it is released for sale.
How should tesamorelin be stored?
Store the lyophilised powder sealed at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening. Stability in solution should be validated within your own laboratory protocol.
Do you ship tesamorelin from the UK?
Yes. Orders placed before 3PM UK time, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24. See our Shipping Policy.
Do you provide dosing or usage advice?
No. Tesamorelin is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only. We do not provide dosage, administration or medical advice of any kind.
Research use only. This product is supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or animal use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. By purchasing, you agree to our Research Use Disclaimer.
