Description
GHK-Cu copper peptide
GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide-1) is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. GHK binds copper with very high affinity, which makes the complex a reference compound for in vitro research into copper transport, fibroblast behaviour, extracellular-matrix remodelling and gene-expression studies.
Supplied as a blue lyophilised powder in 50mg and 100mg vials. GHK-Cu is not a licensed medicine in the UK. We supply it strictly as a research reagent.

Choose your vial size
Select the size above the add-to-cart button. Both sizes are the same compound and are supplied in the same sealed vial format.
Quality and testing
Every batch is purity tested by Janoshik, an independent laboratory, using HPLC before it is released for sale. Read more about our process on the Quality & Testing page.
Storage and handling
Store the lyophilised powder at −20 °C, sealed and protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Prepare solutions according to your laboratory’s validated protocols, using appropriate PPE.
The blue colour comes from the bound copper(II) ion. Keep the vial sealed until use to protect the powder from moisture.

Frequently asked questions
What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (GHK). GHK has a very high affinity for copper, and the complex is studied in vitro in copper-transport, fibroblast and extracellular-matrix research.
Is GHK-Cu the same as copper tripeptide-1?
Yes. Copper tripeptide-1 is another name for the same GHK-Cu complex.
What purity is your GHK-Cu?
Every batch is purity tested by Janoshik, an independent laboratory, using HPLC before it is released for sale.
Which vial size should I choose: 50mg or 100mg?
Both sizes contain the same compound in the same sealed vial format. Choose the quantity that suits your study. The 100mg vial lets you work from a single batch for longer.
How should GHK-Cu be stored?
Store the lyophilised powder sealed at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening. Stability in solution should be validated within your own laboratory protocol.
Do you ship GHK-Cu from the UK?
Yes. Orders placed before 3PM UK time, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24. See our Shipping Policy.
Do you provide dosing or usage advice?
No. GHK-Cu is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only. We do not provide dosage, application or medical advice of any kind, including for cosmetic use.
Research use only. This product is supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or animal use, not for cosmetic use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. By purchasing, you agree to our Research Use Disclaimer.
