Description
Kisspeptin-10 research peptide
Kisspeptin-10 is a 10-amino-acid peptide and the shortest biologically active member of the kisspeptin family, which is derived from the KISS1 gene. It acts as an agonist of the KISS1 receptor, also known as GPR54. In the laboratory it is studied in research on neuroendocrine signalling, particularly the pathways upstream of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH).
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 5mg vial. Kisspeptin is not a licensed medicine in the UK. We supply it strictly as a research reagent.

Storage and handling
Store the lyophilised powder at −20 °C, sealed and protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Prepare solutions according to your laboratory’s validated protocols, using appropriate PPE. Bacteriostatic water is available separately for laboratory use.
Frequently asked questions
What is kisspeptin?
Kisspeptins are a family of peptides derived from the KISS1 gene. They act on the KISS1 receptor (also called GPR54) and are studied in research on the neuroendocrine signalling that sits upstream of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH).
What is kisspeptin-10?
Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest biologically active form of kisspeptin. It consists of the 10 C-terminal amino acids shared by the longer forms, such as kisspeptin-54, and keeps the ability to activate the KISS1 receptor in research models.
Is your kisspeptin kisspeptin-10?
Yes. Our kisspeptin is kisspeptin-10, with the sequence Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH2 and a molecular weight of about 1302.4 g/mol.
What is the difference between kisspeptin-10 and kisspeptin-54?
Kisspeptin-54 is the longer form with 54 amino acids. Kisspeptin-10 is its C-terminal 10-amino-acid fragment. Both activate the KISS1 receptor, and the shorter form is widely used in laboratory receptor studies.
What is the kisspeptin-10 sequence?
The sequence is Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH2, with a C-terminal amide. Its molecular formula is C63H83N17O14, with a molecular weight of about 1302.4 g/mol.
What purity is your kisspeptin?
Every batch is purity tested by Janoshik, an independent laboratory, using HPLC before it is released for sale.
How should kisspeptin be stored?
Store the lyophilised powder sealed at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening. Stability in solution should be validated within your own laboratory protocol.
Do you ship kisspeptin from the UK?
Yes. Orders placed before 3PM UK time, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24. See our Shipping Policy.
Do you provide dosing or usage advice?
No. Kisspeptin is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only. We do not provide dosage, administration or medical advice of any kind.
Research use only. This product is supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or animal use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. By purchasing, you agree to our Research Use Disclaimer.
